About Little Bridge

Little Bridge is an independent amateur dramatic group formed in Autumn 2005.

Our Mission

"To enable local community actively to develop their skills in, and enjoy all aspects of, theatrical arts: and supply opportunities for them to participate in the social benefits linked with their involvement in the Group."

A number of the founding members of Little Bridge were involved in the highly successful Community Play Jealous River. Our involvement brought home the many wonderful aspects of local people collaborating in creative theatre. We wanted to maintain this legacy and enable other local people, irrespective of previous dramatic experience, to become involved in, and enjoy, the pleasure of theatre. In addition we plan to offer social events and other activities.

Little Bridge is committed to staging productions in a variety of local venues and we value greatly their support. This includes:

• Tonbridge School’s drama department, which enabled us to stage our first production at their E.M. Forster Theatre – a venue for Tonbridge to be proud of.
• Hillview School for Girls.
• Local churches.

• Hilden Oaks school for use of rehearsal space.
• Awards for All (South East) for awarding us a Lottery grant.
• Claque Theatre for their support.
• Fosse Bank school for storage space.
